Making Sense of the Pieces

This is my personal blog — a place where I can remember, ponder, sort out and come to terms with the events of my life. One of my goals is to write about "1,000 People to Thank Before I Die," a gratitude project I undertook in January 2010 in an attempt to spend the rest of my life with an attitude of thankfulness for the people who shaped my life through their wisdom, guidance, encouragement or example. It is modeled after the book 1,000 Places to Visit Before I Die.

I also write a blog for my job as publisher, editor and founder of Raising Arizona Kids magazine.
